How will you keep your love for Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast going?

Our responsibility to build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing means we need to do things differently. That’s why we’ve partnered with Will Power.

Will Power is a national movement encouraging Canadians to think differently about giving and leave a gift to charity in their Wills.

Did you know that by leaving a gift in your Will you can make a large and lasting contribution and still support your loved ones in the future?

Learn how you can turn your Will into a powerful tool for change at https://www.willpower.ca/charities/habitat-for-humanity-sunshine-coast/

The ReStore hours of operation are 9am-5pm Tuesday through Saturday. Please call the Restore to book a donation drop off time available between 9am-4pm (as our back gate remains closed) OR to arrange a donation pick up by our team. We also welcome you to email the ReStore at restore@habitatsc.ca for this service.

As province wide COVID-19 restrictions ease, wearing a mask in the ReStore is not mandated but a personal choice.

We appreciate your patience and your business during these challenging times. We are in this together!

Our MISSION

Habitat for Humanity brings communities together to help working families around the globe build strength, stability and self-reliance through access to affordable housing. With your support, Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast bridges the gap for our local low-income working families by providing them with access to affordable housing. Habitat partner families work alongside volunteers to help build their home. Our families pay an affordable mortgage geared to their income and contribute 500 volunteer hours. Our 2020 Strategic Plan means that we will serve more people than ever before.

“I like that a little can go a long way. A can of paint can make a difference.”

$20 a month: It suddenly becomes, "Wow, that's really not a lot." It's doable. And it's a call to action. Its specific.

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are the backbone of our success. They work on a variety of projects throughout the year.  From home construction and fundraising events to lending a hand in the ReStore or in the office, we can help to create an experience that is just right for you.  If you are 16 years or older, you can click below to complete a volunteer application.

Affordable Housing

Helping a family realize their dream of affordable housing is simple. It’s as easy as donating your bottles and cans to our recycling program located at Salish Soils, or your couch that doesn’t fit into your new apartment to the ReStore. By doing these small things, you can become a part of a young family’s journey to self-reliance and independence through affordable housing.

From building homes to fundraising, whatever we do, we do it together!
